Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

We are seeking a results focused Executive Recruiter who will provide strategic partnership and insight within the Executive Search function for the most senior talent planning and hiring needs here at Takeda. This role will provide strategic business partnership to identify and execute on recruitment needs at the top level of the company globally to support business growth and drive performance understanding the overall life-science market and talent landscape.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead the execution of internal and external senior level recruitment while providing white gloved executive search delivery.

  • End to end global executive recruitment responsibilities including identifying and engaging with potential talent for current and future opportunities.

  • Create and innovate on talent intelligence strategies in partnership with our Executive Talent Intelligence Lead to provide data and insights to our senior leaders and plan appropriate talent attraction senior level strategies to drive interest to Takeda.

  • Champion our diverse slate activities during the executive recruitment process.

  • Create a best-in-class recruitment experience for candidates.

  • Cross collaborate and build connections with executives and leadership teams in client groups, HR, Compensation, Talent Acquisition & Talent Development.

  • Track milestones and timelines across executive projects, analyzing risks and issues as needed, adjusting project plans, timelines or resources to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Monitor and report on key talent acquisition metrics as well as cost avoidance for the Global Executive Search function

  • Drive and lead continuous improvement in the executive search recruitment process and outcomes.

  • Nuture and manage 3rd party agency relationships.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition and executive search – ideally worked in life sciences industry.

  • Previous experience working with complex executive offers.

  • Ability to partner and influence at the most senior levels of the organization.

  • Excellent customer relationship & organizational skills.

  • Experience with full cycle executive search processes.

  • Passion for delivering “white glove” service coupled with speed and efficiency.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced & ambiguous environment.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$149,100.00 - $234,300.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
