About the role:

As an important team member in COBS, the Senior Manager, Data Tools & Platforms will be engaged in transformative initiatives. You will report to Associate Director, Operations and Program Management

How you will contribute:

  • Be the primary contact for platform support across all commercial brand marketing teams

  • Manage the selections, implementation and maintenance of any commercial platforms used for US Promotional Materials or other key marketing program assets e.g., Veeva, Content Management System (CMS), Digital Asset Manager (DAM) etc.

  • Assess potential platform solutions, determine the most appropriate options and ensure the delivery of user-friendly options.

  • Help drive greater utilization of tools through analysis, process refinement, documentation, and education.

  • Oversee all release-management associated with these platforms. Ensure effective user uptake of new releases and system upgrades, developing all necessary project plans, training, and stakeholder communication plans.

  • Drive integration of existing Commercial platforms with other technologies as needed.

  • Work with COBS (Sales Op, CL&D, CDMS etc.), DD&T and USBU stakeholders to develop complex project plans related to technical integrations

  • Lead cross-functional project teams of Marketing and business team members.

  • Strategically prioritizes tasks, manages a diverse workload and conflicting priorities and effectively delegates tasks. Prioritizes the implementation of process enhancements by balancing the customer's needs against their overall value to the organization.

  • Develops project plans that integrate and align with cross departmental processes and other projects/ recommend innovative solutions to overcome project hurdles.

  • Manage business requirements and solution designs responsible for implementing multi-channel programs and day to day operations.

  • Marketing Operations Analytics & Insights. Oversee and drive the development/ maintenance of data visualization tools to share marketing operations KPIs (i.e. promotional materials and fulfillment etc.) Span of focus includes:

  • Manage the design, development, and validation of business/system processes.

  • Develops and utilizes clear metrics that define optimal levels of functionality, sustainability and compliance to verify deliverable quality. Identifies root causes of platform success/failure and provides recommendations to improve outcome.

  • Work closely with leadership to develop training and dissemination plan for metrics across the organization

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS/BA degree

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, immunology, biologic/biotech, or medical device industries, preferably in operations or IT.

  • Ability to set priorities for themselves to deliver on deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and skills necessary to engage across a team

  • Ability to demonstrate strategic and critical thinking, as well as problem solving skills

  • Organizational, planning and project management skills

  • Ability to build health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry desired.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$133,000.00 - $209,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
