Job Description

The Digital Transformation team in the Business Excellence (BE) function drives digital workstream initiatives at the LA site. You'll support digital culture change initiatives, manage digital projects, unlock full potential of our people and advance our capabilities through re/upskilling the workforce. You'll also help to evolve the digital mindset and culture of the site through continuous learning and coaching.

About the role:

  • Lead and champion new digital tools and technologies

  • Lead and champion digital projects that are important to the LA site digital strategy (usually focused on manufacturing, supply chain or engineering)

  • Advocate a digital mindset and drive digital progress

  • Aids in the development and reskilling of LA site employees through coaching new on digital concepts and behaviors across the organization

How you will contribute:

  • Within the broader operational excellence framework, help advance digital projects for the site

  • Support the Head of Digital Transformation in building strong engagement of all LA site colleagues through site bootcamps/workshops/coaching initiatives

  • Collaborate with LA’s Operational Excellence, Learning & Development and Project Management teams to provide aligned BE support to site

  • Develop own capabilities in Digital and Data Science to provide appropriate guidance to local employees

  • Lead digital projects through strong in-site collaboration, always keeping Patient, Trust, Reputation and Business in mind

  • Bridge global vs local responsibilities in digital support where needed

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Typically requires a bachelors' degree in science, engineering, or other related technical field.

  • 3+ years of related experience.

  • Experience in bio/pharmaceuticals, biotechnology or life sciences industry is desired.

Important Considerations

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 10 lbs.

  • In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility.

  • Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends.

  • Non-Exempt Roles only: Must be able to work overtime as required.

  • May be required to work in a confined area.

  • Some Clean Room and cool/hot storage conditions.

For Location:

USA - CA - Los Angeles

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$84,000.00 - $132,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
