Job Description
OBJECTIVES
Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) is a function within Takeda with the objective of enabling Takeda’s business strategy, delivering simplification and cost reduction, improving service and providing a transformation engine for continuous improvement for Takeda. Building and Delivering Simplified and Innovative Solutions is our overarching vision with Patients at the center of all that we do.
Within the framework of TBS People Solutions, and in close partnership with Human Resources and Finance, the PRH and Payroll/Benefit Specialist will be responsible for the payroll and benefit operations of assigned countries:
Provide timely resolution to stakeholders’ queries through People Resource Hub (PRH)
Management of day-to-day payroll operations - payroll changes, banking requirements for salary and tax payments and month end reconciliations
Provide support on benefits administration
Management of outsourced vendor services, ensuring quality and achievement of agreed SLAs
Support business projects as required
ACCOUNTABILITIES
People Resource Hub (PRH)
Answer queries regarding HR policy, procedure or the use of HR tools
Support via multiple channels (portal, phone, web chat)
Exceptional customer service, complete requests and resolving employee needs
Perform duties according to service level agreements
Conducts recurring meetings with HR business partners and other key business stakeholders
Ensure all equity transactions are captured and processed within the pay periods
Payroll
Ensure payroll inputs are processed accurately and timely in accordance with country local requirements, ensuring the controls and segregation of duties are adhered to

Complete month end payroll and support Time and Attendance (T&A) activities
Schedule, facilitate and participate in payroll-related meetings and presentations
Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external agencies, e.g. Payroll COE, Revenue, etc
Work with other TBS / HR functions to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information
Participate in regular audits
Ensure a consistent focus and involvement in driving efficiencies and process improvements

Manage vendor relationship to ensure service standards are maintained and key deadlines are met
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Min 1-2 years’ experience in HR workforce administration operations experience
Proven track record in optimizing and delivering of payroll and benefits administration
Knowledge and application of payroll principles, concepts and industry practices and standards desirable
Adaptable, fast pace, resourceful, ability to multitask
Strong written and verbal communication skills
